Who We Are
We are a group of men and women who want to keep the ADA alive in Ocean County. We serve and have served on numerous local, county and state organizations, including those that focus on disability awareness.
The Right Word
The disabilities rights movement worked very hard to promote respect for people with disabilities. Using the right word is a sign of respect. It is important to remember that offensive words can be very hurtful.
When You Meet Me
If I am blind the only difference between me and you is that I am unable to see with my eyes what you see through your eyes. My sense of smell, taste, touch and hearing did not improve when I lost my eyesight.
